Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity that will be heavily involved with month-end processes, financial planning and analysis, revenue and business partnering. This will be well-suited for a progressive individual that is studying towards ACCA/CIMA and wants be more involved with financial analysis/reporting. This is a full-time permanent position offering a salary between £30,000 - £35,000 plus study support.

The Role

The main duties of the Financial Analyst will consist of:

• Internal financial reporting
• Variance analysis
• Analysing performance vs budget as well as the costs vs budget
• KPI reporting
• Preparing quarterly forecasts
• Preparing annual budget
• Reconciliation of deferred and accrued income
• Liaising with stakeholders regarding revenue recognition and projects

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must ideally have experience within an financial analysis or management accounts based role Strong understanding of revenue, debits and credits Ideally an ACCA or CIMA studier Confident user of Excel; pivot tables, lookups Excellent interpersonal skills Adaptable Strong team player
