JOB PURPOSE
* Primary aim is to ensure timely preparation of management accounts and financial reports across all entities.
* Seamless interaction between all relevant stakeholders to ensure all financial information is correct.
* Delivering accurate and timely financial information to assist the decision making process.
* Working closely with the HOF and finance assistant.
* Attending relevant business critical meetings.
* Delivering reports/analysis as required.
ROLE & KEY TASKS
To assist in the meeting the goals of the company by providing accurate, reliable finance information for effective decision making and strategic planning.
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Monthly cashflow statements
* Sales and Margin reporting including, margin bridges and variance analysis
* Overall responsibility and management of purchase, sales and nominal ledger. Including primary review of all sales and purchase invoices
* Working closely with the finance assistant to ensure cashbooks are up to date
* Foreign currency revaluation
* Stock valuation and reporting
* Invoice finance reconciliations across all our accounts. Providing daily updates to finance assistant to enable receipts to be posted to sales ledger.
* Assist in budget and forecast preparation as required
* Quarterly/half yearly VAT returns
* EC Sales reporting to HMRC
