Job Description

As an Assistant Financial Controller reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for costs within the finance team, responsibilities including;

• Leading a team of 3
• Leading and overseeing the month end close for all costs including payroll taxes, accruals, fixed assets and prepayments
• Overseeing the accounts payable process end to end
• Leading on the costs reporting to FP&A with variances to budget and analysis and commentaries for inclusion into their overall figures
• IFRS16 accounting treatments reporting
• Involvement within projects including harmonising processes and controls with 2 entities merging, supporting a P2P roll out and general system improvements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

This is a great role for someone to take real responsibility and autonomy. You will be a finalist/newly qualified accountant or qualified by experience and have previous experience within leading people and ideally good exposure to the cost side of finance.
