Duties and Responsibilities for the Group Financial Controller position

• Managing and developing an established finance function leading up to an IPO.
• Manage transactional finance including; AR, AP and payroll
• Month end reporting, statutory reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Handling the cash and treasury
• Tax planning including R&D tax credits
• Development of function governance, policies, procedures, the chart of accounts and the reporting calendar

Knowledge and Experience Requirements for the Group Financial Controller position

• Degree qualified and a chartered accountant
• Experience of using Oracle
• Experience implementing financial controls and processes
• Proven FP+A skills and business partnering
• Motivated individual that enjoys change management and working at pace in a rapidly growing business
• Previous experience in US GAAP and IFRS
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate financial information to a non-financial audience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience in a SaaS environment Systems implementation / systems improvement / upgrade experience Experience working in both public and private companies Preferred background is plc experience and desire to work in an SME / Start up environment
