Duties & Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
*Bank reconciliations & petty cash posting
*Prepare control reconciliations, investigate and resolve queries
*Prepare and process journals, prepayments and fixed assets
*Prepare VAT returns
*Credit card posting
*Daily cash allocating
*Production of month-end reports
*Posting of Online, Amazon and eBay
*Invoice financing reporting
*Processing of BACS payments
*Ad hoc accounts team tasks
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous experience of using Sage 50 is essential *Held an Assistant Accountant role previously *Computer literate with strong Microsoft Excel skills (including Vlookup's and pivot tables) *Be able to commit to a 9-month position *Ability to compile, analyse and review data to a high level of accuracy *High level of attention to detail *Friendly and tactful personality *Strong inter-personal skills both verbal & written *Like working with people as part of a team *Accounts Experience: 2 years (Required)
