Job Description

Your duties will include:

- Reporting directly to the Managing Director

- Preparing quarterly and annual budgets and forecasts with the board of Directors

- Producing monthly management accounts (Balance Sheet, P&L, Accruals & Prepayments)

- Statutory Accounts including liaising with auditors

- Cashflow forecasting

- VAT returns

- Supervising an accounts assistant (Accounts Payable/Receivable)

- Making full use of the existing accounting software in order to provide analysis and ultimately maximise profit

- Implement new controls and procedures where applicable

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role previously, will be commercially minded, and should be a Qualified Accountant (although PQ and QBEs will be considered).
