Job Description

This is a vital role within the Group Finance Function and will be responsible for managing the consolidation process, providing monthly reporting of the group results, and ensuring group policies and controls are adhered to.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the monthly group reporting and consolidation process.
  • Preparation of the group reporting to the consolidation team.
  • Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and documentation of fixed and variable consolidation adjustments.
  • Planning and co-ordinating the month-end, quarterly and year-end financial reporting process.
  • Ensuring compliance with the group controls framework is always adhered to.
  • Organisation and presentation of monthly communications to the entity Financial Controllers, including monthly reporting instructions.
  • Supporting entity Financial Controllers with monthly reporting submissions.
  • Review of balance sheet reporting at an entity and group level.
  • Ensuring high standards of IFRS reporting are met across the group.
  • Line management of the Consolidation Analyst.
  • Ad-hoc support with technical accounting and reporting issues.
  • Supporting the external audit process, interacting with the audit team, and providing relevant documentation

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified Accountant from a technical background with experience of managing consolidations within industry. Experience of consolidation systems such as HFM Experience of implementing systems and/or process change Building relationships quickly/interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Organised and able to balance conflicting priorities
