Job Description

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Exceed customer expectations and provide a first class customer service by responding quickly and accurately to our customer needs
  • Develop great parts interpretation skills to help quickly identify the right parts needed
  • Professionally and politely correspond with customers via phone and email
  • Develop the skills needed to quickly and accurately navigate manufacturer Electronic Parts Catalogues and in particular Mercedes, DAF, Volvo, Scania, Renault, Iveco and MAN
  • Utilize great written and verbal communication skills to help develop productive customer relationships
  • Help resolve customer queries
  • Attend to customers at our Trade Counter and deal with customer requests and collections
  • Provide accurate customer quotations
  • Assist with processing warranty claims
  • Process payments
  • Validate, update and maintain customer records
  • Process Returns Authorizations and organize returns and collections from customers
  • Liaise with staff at our national depots
  • Check trade magazines and websites for potential new customers
  • Assist with general office administration

Additional Information:

  • 25 days annual holiday which increases to 28 days with service, plus 8 statutory days
  • 40 hours per week
  • Corporate clothing provided

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Good communicator. Be keen and enthusiastic. Knowledge of the Commercial Vehicle parts aftermarket. Diligent and self-disciplined attitude and work ethic. Excellent IT skills. Professional telephone manner. High levels of literacy and numeracy.
