Your Role & Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

-Leading production on the monthly management accounts process to ensure packs are insightful and accurate
-Playing a lead role in the month end close process and ensure financial position is available as quickly as possible
-Ensure the management information provision is accurate and understood by budget holders
-Working alongside the Line Managers and the management team to raise awareness of the financial implications of decisions
-Evaluating and improving the financial systems and suggesting improvements to facilitate greater financial oversight
-Management and oversight of two Assistant Management Accountants

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a high volume and complex operation, preferably within the FMCG sector, however this is not a necessity. Previous work undertaken as a Management Accountant with proven experience in managing and delivering projects is also required. Prior experience in not only evaluating, but also influencing product and customer profitability is a desirable quality in the chosen candidate. A keen, analytical mind with problem-solving and people management skills are also key for this position.
