A well-established, independent accountancy practice, is currently recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper / Payroll Assistant to work in a 50/50 split role across their bookkeeping and payroll divisions. The role is due to growth and is offered on a permanent, full time basis.
Working with a busy team with a wide variety of clients, you will take responsibility for:
·Bookkeeping for a variety of clients
·Completing Vat returns
·Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
·Bank reconciliations and posting bank transactions
·Managing a portfolio of payroll clients and providing a high-quality end to end payroll service
·Ensuring work is completed in a timely manner
·Liaising with clients in a professional manner
