Job Description

As our Warranty Administrator, you will efficiently administer all agreed warranty claims in accordance to manufacturer guidelines to minimize company exposure to warranty write-off and debits. You will also ensure all policy & procedures and fully adhered across the company at all times. Your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Receive all job cards with agreed warranty items and input all claims details and produce warranty invoice and transmit to warranty provider
  • Identify from warranty returns parts for return and those for disposal and inform parts department of action required
  • Check any claims rejected and resubmit errors or in conjunction with manager investigate why rejected
  • Return documentation for rejected warranty items for re-costing by service administration
  • Participate in warranty audits as required
  • Ensure that the image and levels of customer service within the department is in line with company standards
  • Ensure that all customer complaints are dealt with both speedily and effectively, and that any unresolved problems are referred to the job holders immediate supervisor

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
We are looking for an experienced Warranty Administrator who can demonstrate previous experience within a similar role in the automotive industry. As a minimum standard you must possess Keyboard skills. High Attention to detail. Product and skill training. Previous mechanical experience an advantage.
