Job Description

There is a lot of scope for development within this role and your primary responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:

• Take ownership of the financial control and accounting for the business
• Budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
• Business partnering, working with senior stake holders
• Ownership of monthly board / management reporting
• Year end reporting and audit, and periodic management accounting
• Ownership of cash flow management, forecasting and reporting
• Management of balance sheet and working capital
• Proactively seek to understand the key drivers of financial results and measure overall performance against plan
• Collaboration with the wider FP&A team for the regular planning and reporting cycles
• Identify key trends and movements in various financial statistics
• Managing the relationship with payroll, auditors and HMRC for tax compliance
• Implement new ways of working to improve efficiency and usefulness of forecasting and budgeting

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

ACA / ACCA qualified Minimum 2 years post qualifying experience (ACA / ACCA desirable) Preferably a 2:1 or better in accounting, finance, maths or other numbers-driven university degree Fashion / Hospitality / Real Estate experience (desirable) Desire to progress People management experience Max 1 month notice period (desirable) Could suit Financial Accountant looking to step up
