Job Description

The Fund Accountant may come from an administrator or an in-house fund role but they must have solid experience of working on closed ended funds. Above all, the Fund Accountant will be a proactive team player who enjoys hands on work.

The Fund Accountant role has come about through the growth and launching of new closed ended funds. They will sit on a small team (as part of a wider finance function) with responsibility for managing the underlying portfolio of assets and reconciling the fund valuation with that of the appointed administrator. The Fund Accountant will have a broad and hands on role, focusing on closed ended funds.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful Fund Accountant for this West End based Asset Management firm, will be a qualified accountant with about two years post qualified experience, or will be qualified by experience within the fund space
