A Project Finance Manager is required for a local JV. This company has a number of agreements and contracts running which all need to be managed effectively. Someone who is robust and experienced to manage the lenders and all the day to day finance duties. Responsibility for 2 staff. They use Sage as their local accounts and consolidate into SAP at Group level. They are looking for commitment for at least 12 months. They can offer a retention bonus for completion of the project.
Very fast paced environment with plenty of stakeholders including the JV partners, lenders, local port etc
All staff currently working from home, however once current restrictions lift you will be required to be onsite at least 3 days per week.
Self-starter with ability to hit the ground running
Good IT skills (Excel in particular)
Ability to communicate confidently in Board meetings and stand up to challenge.
Knowledge of project finance would be helpful
Experience of the following would be useful
Modelling or understanding complex models
Management reporting and month end process (managed by Assistant Accountant)
Project finance arrangements, debt covenants and associated reporting requirements
Statutory accounts preparation and a level of tax knowledge
Sale process and due diligence would be great but not essential
