Manage all accounting operations; Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
Publishing timely monthly financial statements
Regularly reporting
Researching technical accounting issues for compliance
Oversee and support month-end and year-end close process
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Developing business processes as well as accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Additional controller duties as necessary
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience Advanced degree in Accounting CPA or CMA preferred Experience with creating financial statements / general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process Excellent accounting software user and administration skills Experience involving scaling businesses efficiently and effectively (desired) Familiarity with cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology (desired) Redbrick / Russell Group University Financial Services background (desired)
