Job Description

A fantastic opportunity for an Technical Product Manager has become available, with one of our prestigious clients. To join a team obsessed with creating award winning products.The Product team is also the base for the Design and UX teams, they particularly work to understand customer research and journeys in order to influence changes and overall experience. In order to set out and manage the roadmap for each of the product.

If you are technically minded, have an engineering background, and in the early stages of your product management career, this could be the role for you.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations, and keep the squad, tribe and wider business up to date with developments
  • As an acquisition tool for SBG it is imperative to work closely and build relationships with commercial, marketing and trading functions to ensure we deliver the right things for the customer and business
  • Define clear and unambiguous business requirements, processes and customer journeys
  • Work with the design team and research to understand what’s important to our customers
  • Work with our 3rd party development agency prioritizing product backlogs and manage the development roadmap
  • End to end management of product features and services
  • Help define KPIs for new product features and validate the impact of releases
  • Use data to drive decisions and maximize value to the business
  • Help drive your squad to deliver new customer experiences
  • Focus on executing the product roadmap

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
We are looking for an individual of potential, with relevant product delivery experience in a consumer facing digital or ecommerce environment. Experience of Product Management within a lean / agile development methodology. Understanding of customer interactions and user journeys and demonstrating a passion for continually improving customer experience. An analytical and inquisitive mind-set with the ability to translate business cases and analysis into tangible outcomes. Naturally collaborative, and with a desire to be part of a highly successful team rather than just a highly successful individual.  High levels of commitment and enthusiasm Interest in and knowledge of the latest technology and media trends, in particular an interest in mobile based products.  Highly organized and self-motivated, with a desire to see a job through to conclusion. A team player rather than individual who is motivated by the success of the group.  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and comfortable operating at all levels of an organization.  Experience using Business Analysis techniques to define and solve business problems would be advantageous.
