Support Financial Controller with routine operational finance duties in a 'hands-on' manner - Includes period-end support, balance sheet reconciliations, supervision of staff etc.
Creation and development of a commercial finance framework (initially models & MI) in conjunction with Financial Controller.
Analysis of large volumes of sales & IT data, creating tangible commercial outcomes to drive performance and change across the business.
Top level reporting - regularly presenting to Directors and senior leadership team.
Acting as conduit between departmental heads (Sales, Marketing, IT, Customer Service, Directors) and finance.
Business partnering finance & non-finance staff alike, identifying weaknesses and opportunities for improvements across the group - Particular emphasis on partnering with Marketing to drive online sales.
Continuous development of controls/processes/systems relating to finance and the wider business.
Supervision of one part-qualified member of staff.
Supporting ad-hoc projects, providing financial direction where required.
Support statutory and audit processes.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA status. Strong demonstrable grounding as a management or financial accountant. Previous exposure to commercial finance or business critical analysis. Experience in e-commerce or retail accountancy environments. Financial modelling and forecasting skills.
