Job Description

Main duties/Responsibilities

  • Raise and check all invoices and upload for processing
  • Review all processed invoices prior to emailing customers
  • Check all order acknowledgements
  • Request, chase all PODs then check, upload and email
  • All payment requests to be processed as instructed
  • Update key customers/suppliers monthly reports
  • Prepare outstanding order report for each Sales Team member
  • Bank any cheques received
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Assist finance manager and assistant management accountant with reports
  • Cover Credit Control payments during annual leave
  • Assist with queries from suppliers and customers
  • Answering the phone
  • Admin duties such as daily post, scanning and electronic document filing
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal person will have a 'can-do' attitude and be a conscientious, thorough, self-motivated individual, be computer literate and have accurate data inputting skills. You must work well as part of a team, as well as have a "First Time Right" mindset and be able to work well under pressure as you may be expected to cover other jobs during holidays and particularly busy periods. On the job training will be given.
