Job Description

This is a newly created role, working closely with the FC to develop and manage commercial models, reconciliations, and robust MI to ensure the profitability of the business continues to excel through sustainable operational excellence.

• Provide commercial analysis and management information to the FC & possibly other parts of the business
• Prepare monthly and annual consolidated accounts to identify results, trends, and variance analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• FX risk management - support FC (in the future)
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance profitability and efficiency
• Interaction with auditors (in the future)
• Coach other members of finance team in new and existing processes

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

2 or more years of experience working in a commercial background Experience of working in a medium to large e-commerce/retail business Proficient using Microsoft Office applications Experience with Xero accounting package (desirable) Financial modelling and forecasting skills Analytical mindset and acute attention to detail Qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA
