Job Description

• Full ownership over operational finance function (accounting & transactional) for a ot-for-profit SME.
• Supervising one accountant and reporting to the directors / board.
• Transitioning accounting function in-house from an external accountancy practice.
• Full control over balance sheet and monthly management accounts production, with associated analysis.
• Creation and presentation of MI to senior leadership team.
• Collation / approval of payroll for external supplier.
• Forecasting, budgeting, and supporting with new business planning.
• Oversight of transactional ledgers and group cash flow.
• Business partnering with non-finance functions both internally and externally.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified or QBE Accountant status (essential) Prior experience in an Accountant or Finance Manager role (essential) Comfortable as #1 in finance. Strong working transactional & accountancy knowledge. Strong interest or experience in the not-for-profit / public sector.
