Lead major audit assignments by example. These clients may be based nationally and regular travel is to be expected.
Supervise/manage the team where required, review their work and assist in complex areas where required (eg consolidations, pension scheme balances, acquisitions). Also includes on-the-job-training and development of juniors.
Complete on-site projects as instructed by the client. May include; due-diligence, corporate finance, business reviews, internal controls reviews.
Review audit files, review/prepare draft Audit Findings Reports, and review draft year end statutory financial statements, usually on-site.
Act as Business Partner between internal and external stakeholders, which may include Directors, CEO's etc.
Build and maintain lasting client relationships. Providing them with critical business information and updates as required.
Occasionally attend networking events and identify opportunities to grow the business.
Likely ownership over a small client portfolio which can grow over time.
UK-wide travel (fully paid for) is an essential part of this role.

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified or Finalist ACCA/ACA status. Candidates who are 'qualified by experience' with relevant Audit backgrounds will be considered. Clean UK driving licence & willing to travel UK-wide (essential). Strong technical accounting ability. 2+ years' experience in an accountancy or business advisory environment. Comfortable in a client-facing environment.
