Job Description

A chance to work closely with the leadership team of an international firm of accountants across some of their key clients. A role that promises excellent career prospects especially as the firm has a culture of promoting from within.
You will have a detailed understanding of how current and future changes to various accounting and reporting standards affect clients so as to advise them and their internal teams accordingly. This will require excellent communication skills, as you will need to explain these potentially complex strategies to them clearly and comprehensively.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
To apply for this role you will ideally be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CA), either ICAEW or ICAS, with a significant amount of recent internal audit experience working with clients in the financial services sector. As an alternative qualified accountants with professional practice external audit experience, but currently working in the financial services industry within internal audit would also be considered. You will need experience setting up and reviewing internal audit functions, creating internal audit plans, and delivering against these strategies
