Job Description

Reporting into the Financial Controller, as Finance Analyst you will play a key part in understanding the business and working in close partnership with the business leaders to build commercial plans and deliver results.

The role is joining a small, lean and efficient finance team so comes with great diversity and variation, offering great exposure, autonomy and responsibility.

Typical duties will include but are certainly not limited to:

• Assisting with the production of the month end routine, management accounts and monthly financial reporting and analysis
• Close management of the WIP
• Provide analysis on sales, profitability, trends, and operational performance
• Balance sheet and P&L analysis reconciliations
• Business partner with wider stakeholders to provide suggestions and drive continuous improvement
• Support longer term strategic objectives through provision of data, trends and analysis

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Working towards a professional qualification CIMA/ACCA Have experience in the production of management accounts and the month end routine Have an analytical, problem solving mindset Be commercially aware and confident liaising with stakeholders across the business Be ambitious and career driven, wanting to work in a fast paced, creative environment Be organised with a key attention to detail Experience working with ERP and management reporting systems
