Rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in as we grow this start up business to meet our hugely ambitious goals! This role involves combining financial expertise with an understanding of the commercial and operational needs of the business. The key responsibilities include:
Managing all support functions, including finance, legal, HR support and IT support
Playing a key role in vision and strategy sessions; using financial data to inform and influence decision-making
Conducting internal budgeting, forecasting, reporting and other business management processes
Analysing monthly reports to monitor performance against agreed plans and budgets, identifying any issues/opportunities
Developing and routinely updating a financial and structural business plan
Taking responsibility for the development and improvement of processes, systems, and procedures
Identifying and exploring operational issues that may occur when pursuing new business opportunities
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified Accountant Proven experience working closely with a Managing Director of an SME Track record of being involved in strategi decision-making Experience of improving business processes Experience of delivering timely, accurate and concise reporting Experience of budgeting, cost control and management reporting
