Job Description
  • Own the budget for offline Asda Money & Asda Gift Card marketing.
  • Responsible for reporting on costs versus plan and return on investment of all marketing including partner funded.
  • Provide briefs for Asda Money & Asda Gift Card offline marketing and manage through to delivery.
  • Own and develop the Brand Guidelines for Asda Money and Asda Gift Cards.
  • Manage Gift Card stock levels, forecast production and manage costs.
  • Own the Agency design process for Asda Gift Cards (plastic and eGift) and range reviews.
  • Provide insight and updates on competitor marketing for Asda Money and Gift Cards.
  • Responsible for the in-store customer experience, ensure Gift card fixtures are easy to shop and Asda Money Point of Sale raises customer awareness and drives online visits.
  • Develop the Asda Money and Gift Card Brands – making sure they are modern, relevant and recognizable.
  • Responsible for brand consistency of Asda Money and Asda Gift Cards across all channels.
  • Work with our partners to ensure all their marketing is on brand.
  • Talk to our customers to check our brands deliver on their promise – to be credible, friendly and great value
  • Leverage design and production cost savings across Walmart markets and Asda Categories (e.g. Licenses and Product Design)
  • Ensure existing suppliers deliver LCOM
  • Provide specialist product area information to the Asda customer function for marketing planning.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Appropriate licenses must be obtained for card designs
  • Responsible for ensuring all partners and outsourced agencies adhere to Walmart policies and audit processes, backed up with appropriate contractual agreements and MI
  • Responsible for Asda operating within its regulatory remit and ensuring its obligations to its regulated Principals are met at all times
  • Accountable for measuring and complying with Treating Customers Fairly principles as set out by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) to ensure Asda's reputation is managed positively
  • Accountable for ensuring Asda meets all its requirements under its FCA permissions
  • Ensure partners sign off all marketing collateral from a Legal and Compliance perspective.
