Job Description

-Developing the monthly and quarterly reporting process to satisfy the commercial requirements of management across the Group and a highly reputable Private Equity Firm
-Ensuring the regulatory and statutory commitments are met and instilling a culture of accuracy across the accounting team
-Act as an agent for continuous improvement surrounding the financial control environment and operational efficiency
-Establish a strong and credible relationship with all external parties, including banks and advisors
-Work closely with senior business partners and the IT team to develop the financial systems and increase automation
-Ensure the payroll and HR administration process runs smoothly

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Successful applicants will be practice trained, qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA) with some experience working in industry, preferably within a private equity backed or highly leveraged business. The successful applicant will bring superb technical accounting ability and ideally have some knowledge of corporate finance, due diligence and financial analysis, as the Group remains acquisitive thus the Head of Finance will manage future acquisitions. Additionally, strong communication and leadership skills will also be pre-requisite as well as an ambitious nature to facilitate the continued high growth plans of the Directors and the PE backers alike.
