Job Description
  • To embed and embrace the company values and culture
  • Assist in the implementation of the HR Strategy
  • Lead and execute the full colleague life cycle (on-boarding, performance reviews, HR communication and off-boarding) source and recruit quality colleagues and oversee the onboarding, support line managers in retaining high quality colleagues.
  • Review existing HR systems and technology, recommending improvements including digital solutions that will assist the strategic HR agenda and enable continuous improvement
  • Implement the Performance Management System consistently
  • Work with Manager and Team Leaders to ensure that individual/team training and development needs are identified, and the appropriate training delivered
  • Implement effective succession planning processes working with Senior Management to ensure that there are clearly identified succession plans.
  • Deal with all employee relations in a professional and effective manner to minimise risk and cost to the business. Providing advice to Line Managers regarding all issues such as contractual and disciplinary issues, keeping up to date with legal developments.
  • Develop and maintain our HR policies and procedures in line with Company and legislative requirements
  • Promote a positive and professional working environment, that encourages quality staff to join the team and develop within the business.
  • Maintain awareness of all risk related issues and ensure compliance with companies operational polices, knowledge of FCA and TCF
  • Oversee all HR correspondence and company payroll

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum 3-4 years' experience in HR generalist role Member of the CIPD Leadership and management experience Ability to Identify and improve policies and procedures and ways of working Experience of developing/contributing to HR strategy and interpreting strategy into action at an operational level Oversight and experience of managing HR projects Stakeholder management Experience of managing and overseeing colleague relation cases Coaching and development of HR team and Graduates Ability to influence, persuade and inspire others Ability to organise own time and prioritise workload is essential Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good analytical and reporting skills
