Job Description

Our brand is a solely online retailer that operates across multiple online channels selling a wide range of beautiful home furniture. You will deal with customers’ orders from end to end, from helping the customer make a purchase using your wonderful product training to contacting our contracted couriers to confirm delivery arrangements. As with any customer service position, an element of complaint handling will be involved but, with our wonderful customer service approach, these will be dealt with completely by you! We strive to ensure that all of our Customer Service Advisors can fix any issue that arises, no matter how big or small.

All initial contact with customers is inbound, either by telephone or email. No cold calling takes place and no sales targets!

This job is a full time role, 40 hours per week and 1 pre-planned Saturday a month. It is a full time, permanent role, with a 3 month probationary period.

  • Office-based Customer Service: 3 years (Required)

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (Required)

Job Duties:

  • Answer incoming customer inquiries
  • Stay up-to-date on new products, services, and policies
  • Collect and report customer feedback to ensure that best practice is recognized and maintained
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
  • Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
  • Other duties as requested

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficient on a PC, Excel and Email especially. A highly motivated individual, sometimes we ship 1000's of products a week, you will always be busy! A peoples person! You need to be able to listen, empathize and make sure all our customers feel important. We need you to take initiative when presented with a problem and deliver the best customer service end to end. Passionate and positive! Help us uphold our brand reputation. Excellent communication skills, both by email and telephone. A passion for customer services, with at least 3 years experience in a customer service role. English and Math GCSE Grade C or above.
