Job Description

Head of Finance responsibilities will include:

• Responsibility for leading the financial reporting/ F,P & A function providing business partnering support to UK Sales Organisation
• Lead the consolidation and preparation of statutory reporting, VAT, Intrastat and EC sales returns
• Leading internal and external audit
• Responsible for complex revenue recognition and rebates process
• Finance lead of various UK wide projects and implementing strong financial controls in a multi ledger operation
• Exceptional ability to lead, coach and mentor a small team of PQ Assistant Accountants
• Proactively highlight risks and evaluate potential opportunities to drive business performance
• Lead detailed sales, margin and stock reporting for UK operations

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified or Passed Finalist ACCA / CIMA calibre with 2-3 years experience at a similar level working in a fast paced environment. You will need to demonstrate energy, stamina and a passion for partnering operational managers / directors to highlight risks and drive opportunities Technically strong, commercially astute and strong team management skills You will possess the aptitude to work at high intensity to deliver precise financial reporting across the business You must be IT Literate especially on excel and have strong analytical skills
