Job Description
You'll need to have a strong product management background along with recent line management experience. You'll need to have led on significant customer proposition developments, and have experience of large-scale platform transformations. You'll work very closely with our offshore development teams and third-party vendors, so you must be used to managing large teams within a large enterprise / company scale.
What you'll do
Be responsible for a domain of technology capabilities and products, which support ASDA's customers, colleagues, and / or operations. The domains may include our customer data ecosystem, our profile service and our ASDA.com web experience.
Research & report on key product metrics (e.g. eCommerce conversion, customer satisfaction, media revenue). Understand industry best practices and turn this research into actionable recommendations to accomplish business objectives.
Work with internal and external engineering groups to develop a leading-edge technology solution/roadmap, to ensure a high performing and stable platform for ASDA. This includes not only the core platform, but additional functionality, 3rd party tools and testing services to ensure 100% uptime and a fully secured platform.
Understand how end users interact with support products and develop a comprehensive roadmap to improve user satisfaction.
As the role is based in Asda House in Leeds, then this will be your base location.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Managed large teams (circa 20+). Led on significant customer proposition developments. Experience of large-scale platform transformations. Basic technical knowledge of what type of tech stack, components (from a product management and infrastructure perspective) and methodologies to bring together, to deliver outcome against eCommerce retail use cases. It's a really flexible environment, so don't worry if you need to drop the kids off, or check in on your parents, as we won't be clock watching you. You will also be able to work remotely 2-3 days a week depending on workload and government advice.
