Job Description

The Role

The main responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant will consist of:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Full maintenance of the purchase ledger
  • Full maintenance of the sales ledger
  • Reconciling the general ledger
  • Processing invoices and expenses
  • Credit control
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
  • Working closely with the Accountant with monthly reporting and management accounts preparation

Salary & Benefits

Our client is offering a salary between £22,000 - £25,000 plus study support, 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), pension scheme and other benefits.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must have strong credits and debits experience Must have a good understanding of the general ledger Ideally an AAT studier or QBE (qualified by experience) Strong attention to detail Highly organised Good team player Adaptable Willing to learn
