As a Metering Customer Service Advisor, you will ensure domestic and commercial water meters are read accurately and timely. You will be expected to provide wherever practicable, immediate resolution of metering issues, whilst ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service.
You’ll be expected to attend customer appointments to carry out basic investigations into high and low consumption and take appropriate action which includes the repair or exchanging of water meters. You will provide basic advice and information for customers in relation to their water supply and consumption.
You will ensure regular maintenance of meter location notes to agreed standards and carry out ‘must be reads’ as issued in order to ensure SLA compliance.
You’ll be expected to take responsibility for the correct and safe utilization of all equipment provided and act as a front line representative of Yorkshire Water, ensuring that vehicles, corporate clothing and equipment are maintained appropriately and company values and behaviors are demonstrated during all activities.
Flexibility will be required as there will be occasional work on Saturdays.
