Our client, a leading University are currently looking for an Assistant Management Accountant whowill be responsible to the Head of Finance Operations (Health) for all Health Faculty related sales invoices and to the Deputy Treasury Accountant for related Recharges.
Location: Based across 2 Campuses - London bridge & Waterloo
Pay: £15.78-£17.49 per hour
Type: Temporary, 3 Months + (could possibly go permanent)
Start date: ASAP
In this role your accountability's and responsibilities:
Dealing with Recharges ensuring all relevant service level agreements are in place and authorised and invoicing bodies in a timely manner
Responsible for the accurate and timely invoicing for all income in the Health team, ensuring accounts are reconciled and income accurately accounted for in the monthly accounts
Monitoring and managing the Health team invoice schedule and processes
Providing support to Faculties and Management Accountants for all income related queries, and acting as primary contact for all recharge queries
Understanding, manipulating, and producing basic reports from data on College systems (e.g. for reconciliations, accruals/deferrals of income), where some background knowledge & interpretation is required.
Posting of financial journals where necessary
Other reasonable duties as prescribed
The successful candidate will be based at the London Bridge campus working with the Health team Management Accountants and the Treasury team based at Waterloo. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are necessary to liaise with all levels of staff including external stakeholders.
