Job Description

The role will consist mainly of managing larger volumes of data creation and updates as part of our initiative to prepare for the impact of Brexit, preventing any potential data originated risk to the business.

Key focus of this role is to review existing client, user and instrument data, ensuring that data integrity is maintained to the highest of standards, as part of an on-going static data transformation project. Main items of responsibility will be:


 

  • Ensuring that counterparties are created within the relevant systems as part of client on-boarding onto our trading venues, and maintenance of existing client data as part of the groups preparation for Brexit.
  • Data Sanitisation across multiple in-house applications of our client data, consisting of legal entity and personal user account information.
  • Creation of iTraxx indices credit default swaps on inhouse credit applications for the group’s various brands, as part our European OTF and SEF trading venue offerings.
  • Construction of trading screens.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of the following is desired: Experience of counterparty data preferable Good understanding of credit default swaps Excel knowledge at a level sufficient to manipulate and reconcile large quantities of various types of client and instrument data Knowledge of vendor systems such as Bloomberg and Markit Pro-active Confident Good team ethics Analytically minded Customer focused Logical thinker Excellent numerical ability Ability to work to deadlines Good communication skills
