Collaborate with all four network Construction Management Organisations to ensure MOBs operations align with specification, NG guidelines, contract terms and best practice
Ensure Contractors are fully competent to carry out MOBs work and competency gaps are addressed in line with seriousness
Support the MOBs Specialist in ensuring:
experience/expertise is made available to Contractors when necessary
operational safety and security policy is applied consistently across MOBs activities
deviations are assessed and addressed in line with seriousness
process consistency and standardisation across MOBs activities is implemented
Monitor quality assurance and audit processes and ensure Contractor processes are defensible
Co-ordinate QA processes to ensure checks are carried out and all work completed and authorised
Support crisis management including the direction of work activities and allocation of resources, ensuring the importance of public safety is considered at all times
Support the management of public safety activities and issues
Ensure Contractors are committed to public safety in their work activities
Ensure public safety issues are addressed and escalated
Manage the interface with Customer Operations on MOBs activities and manage customer issues through direction of the Contractors
Assess Contractor operational and commercial performance against contract terms

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You’ll possess the following skills, qualifications, knowledge and experience: Highly motivated with the ability to identify excellent performance opportunities through Innovation and KPI’s that create and add value to customers and stakeholders. Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline and relevant engineering experience or equivalent level of engineering experience Experience in a contracting or operational environment Experience and expertise in a MOBs environment Communication and influencing skills Knowledge of Local Authority operations and procedures with detailed knowledge of: Planning Act 1990 (Listed and Conservation Areas) Building Regulations 2012 Full knowledge of relevant Cadent policies and procedures Essential Requirements Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline plus chartered engineer qualification or equivalent level of experience Full valid UK driving licence Extensive experience in an operational or contractor environment
