The project is a diverse and collaborative organisation committed to engaging stakeholders, obtaining development consent and preparing for construction of the power station.
With the construction of the recent project successfully underway, the client is now developing plans to build an identical power station on the Suffolk coast. Mace has been supporting the client on the development of the nuclear project since 2011 and continues to act as a key framework supplier under a variety of workstreams.
The supply chain assistant is an important role within the supply chain group with accountability to the supply chain manager and in accordance with delegated levels of authority.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Working closely and pro-actively with the other team members at all levels and across all the teams within nuclear new build (NNB).
• Ensuring that the requirements of the individual contracts and their impact upon the overall project are successfully delivered.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams. You have good working knowledge contracts, basic estimating, valuations, cost reporting and financial modelling. You have experience of industry standard procurement practices in a cost or commercial background within the nuclear sector and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
