Job Description
Our client is an international firm of Accountants based in Leytonstone offering accounts, taxation, business advisory and support services to a wide range of businesses and individuals.
Additionally, company specialise in business start-ups, compliance services, consultancy and systems advice, investments & pensions, support services and taxation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Setting up companies on companies house and liaising with HMRC on behalf of businesses
- Involvement in compliance services
- Working on company’s bespoke management accounting software
- Managing and handling all areas of support services which includes: bookkeeping, payroll and forecasting
- Preparation of tax returns for sole traders and limited companies
Requirements and prospects
Desired skills
- IT / Computer efficient (Excel, Word etc)
- Numeric ability and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (Both financial and non-financial)
Personal qualities
- Ability to use initiative
- Professional and well mannered
- Eagerness to learn
Desired qualifications
- GCSE’s grades A-C/ 9-4, or equivalent, including Maths & English
- A-Level grades A-C/9-4, or equivalent, in a relevant subject such Accountancy, Economics, Business, maths etc
- AAT Level 2 desirable but not essential
Future prospects
- AAT Level 4 (Higher Apprenticeship)
