The ideal Bookkeeper will be responsible for:
- Accounts payable, processing all invoices.
- Accounts preparation to the trial balance stage
- Purchase payment run
- Entering Payroll journals and reconciliations
- Employment expenses
- Bank reconciliations
- Posting journals
- Preparing weekly time-sheets
- Able to calculate and post accruals and prepayments, depreciation and other year-end journals.
- Accounts receivable
- Meet deadlines and time budgets
- Advise line manager of any outstanding issues
- Complete VAT returns
- Ad-hoc projects
