Job Description

You will be responsible for a portfolio of bookkeeping clients. You will be requesting and preparing the VAT (and non VAT) bookkeeping for your clients as a basis for the VAT return. You will be responding to client queries and completing VAT registrations and de registrations. You will be maintaining the client relationships and general admin duties.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You must have used Sage line 50 and Xero and you must have worked in a practice in a bookkeeping/accounts assistant role where you have prepared and submitted VAT returns independently. You must also have an above average typing speed (above 40WPM or more). You will also be up to speed with the VAT legislation.
