Covering a busy switchboard by directing the calls through to the correct person / department after gaining as much information from the caller.
Taking full details of new enquiries through asking a series of questions.
Processing internal and external post carefully to ensure Data Protection is adhered to
Covering reception to be the face of the company
Making sure client’s and visitors sign in for Health and Safety
Offering them a drink to make their visit to the office as comfortable as possible
Plus any additional duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be expected in accordance with the role.
Training
The qualification that will be gained is Customer Service Practitioner Level 2.
You will not be required to attend college; however, you may be asked to sit some exams in IT, Math’s and English depending on your GCSE results, the apprenticeship provider will discuss this with you.
