Your Responsibilities

CML are seeking an experienced individual who will manage rail structures schemes such as earthworks and embankments on a day to day basis, managing; paper work, materials, equipment, labour and sub-contractors.

You will be a competent Civil Engineering professional with at least 7 years’ experience of Civil Engineering construction project work.

Your experience will require you to prepare and implement site specific management plans with an emphasis on the importance of health & safety at all times.

A strong background in earthworks and embankments will be essential to becoming successful in this role at CML. As well as, strong people management skills which will enable you to provide guidance and practical advice to site personnel for the competent execution of the contract works.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proven experience managing work sites and teams Previous experience working within a Railway Environment – Essential Civils background – Essential Earthworks experience CRE Construction – Desirable Project Management – Desirable Preferred qualifications: Civil Engineering qualifications (BEng or HND) – Desirable PTS SMSTS First Aid Qualification
