Reporting into the Head of Finance, the Bookkeeper will be responsible for a range of tasks including:
Maintaining and reconciling the ledgers
Completing the monthly trial balance
Leading the month-end process
Acting as point of contact for internal and external queries
Preparing project accounts and providing project information and analysis as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
We are looking for an AAT qualified Accountant or experienced Bookkeeper with a genuine interest in working for a charitable organisation. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is a proactive attitude and an interest in providing sound financial support across the organisation. Charity experience is not essential but the ability to build relationships and work with the wider team is.
