My client are a leading firm that are looking for a determined and self motivated individual with previous bookkeeping experience to work with their SME clients, providing a wide range of services including Bookkeeping, VAT, CIS Returns and Management Accounts. Your key responsibilities will include: -
Ownership of client bookkeeping including processing sales invoices, receipts/payments, accruals, prepayments and depreciation
Reconciliation of bank and ledger accounts
Preparartion of Management Accounts and identifying significant variances
Preparation of VAT and CIS returns
Assisting with the preparation of statutory year-end accounts by preparing year-end supporting files.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of basic accounting and principles, strong numeracy and communication skills. You will be a self-motivated individual with a 'can do' attitude and a desire to be challenged and developed.
