Uploading transactions of the relevant system e.g. Xero, Quickbooks, Sage etc.
Process sales invoices
Reconcile bank accounts
Complete month end adjustments e.g. accruals, prepayments
Maintain fixed asset registers
Prepare VAT & CIS returns
Prepare management accounts
Prepare year end files
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice environment is essential Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to liaise with various clients and build strong relationships AAT Level 4 qualified or studying is ideal Knowledge of Xero is essential Knowledge of other cloud-based accounting software is highly beneficial
