Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper on a permanent basis.

• Double entry bookkeeping including bank reconciliation of clients’ accounts
• Bank reconciliation
• Capable in dealing with client queries
• Preparing basic annual accounts
• Preparation and filing of VAT returns
• Supporting the running of payrolls
• Processing of accrual and prepayments
• Other general bookkeeping tasks
• Credit control
• Maintain general ledgers including subsidiary accounts

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience of working in a similar position in an accountancy practice environment, or you will have experience as a self-employed Bookkeeper managing your own client portfolio. Either already achieved, or be studying towards AAT qualification Excellent communication skills and be able to effectively build and maintain client relationships.
