The successful candidate will be experienced in using AutoCAD and can create detailed drawings Advantageous for the successful candidate to have working knowledge of Lighting Reality software.
You will be required to take ownership of tasks given to you throughout the entire design and construction process.
Undertaking surveys, site work and assessments.
Preparing drawings using AutoCAD.
Undertaking lighting calculations using Lighting Reality software.
Assisting with to prepare reports and presentations (feasibility to detailed reports).
Help to ensure all project files are up to date and comply with the QMS system
Undertake risk assessments,
Produce schedules and associated works.
Assist Project Managers to ensure that deadlines are met and within budget
Use best practice at all times.
You will help coordinate different design tasks with various clients, contractors, manufacturers, and internal and external design teams
An electrical or engineering-based qualification
Affiliate membership of the ILP / IET would be also be advantageous.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum 3 years’ experience (preferably in a consultancy within a street lighting team) Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) Experience of using AutoCAD to create detailed street lighting drawings. Experience of using Lighting Reality software to produce detailed lighting calculations Experience of producing concept, preliminary, and detailed lighting designs Site survey experience
