Job Description

This position is permanent, employed direct by our client.

The successful candidate will perform general administration duties and support the sales and executive management team as required to meet the requirements of the company and its customers.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Provide general support to the Sales Team including general administration of quotations, orders, variations, omissions, acknowledgements and associated filing.
  • Be responsible for creating job files as a result of orders and forward to relevant person and update the EL list in line with company procedures.
  • On a daily basis take responsibility for checking the Sales incoming e-mail and forward/ distribute relevant information accordingly.
  • On a monthly basis produce, distribute and keep records of New Sales and Service Sales orders, variations, and omissions to create month end figures for holding company and monthly management reports.
  • Be responsible for transferring quotations to the CRM system and updating the system on changes in sales activities.
  • Ensure records are kept of Area Sales Manager’s sales figures along with client figures and sales of equipment including product numbers.
  • As and when required, be responsible for organizing travel arrangements for the sales team members.
  • Source and manage the distribution of corporate work wear and support material.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with an hour unpaid lunch (35 hours per week)

Experience:

  • Sales Administration: 2 years (Required)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A relevant business administration qualification or relevant experience. Excellent customer service skills. Experience in handling incoming calls from a range of people and dealing with these in a polite and professional manner. Good computer skills and attention to detail. Broad sound knowledge of information and communication technologies including data management. Understanding of the service industry and management of associated information against project deliverables.
