Job Description

Your new role will involve overseeing the transactional finance team as well as supporting the Financial Controller with all aspects of finance up to trial balance. This role would suit an AAT studier or MAAT who is experienced in ledger work, reconciling accounts, and credit control. A finance professional who is perhaps looking for further exposure within commercial industry finance - for example supporting the FC to put the monthly management accounts packs together with commentary.

This role would be perfect for an experienced Assistant Accountant with leadership capability to supervise a small team and progress within the organisation. You will start by learning the day to day finance, understand the business, and then pick up more senior work and projects as you progress.

What you'll need to succeed

You will ideally be AAT Qualified or a studier with 3-5 years experience in an Accountancy role. My client is also open to speaking with candidates from a practice accountancy background interested in a move. Part Qualified chartered accountants are also encouraged to apply, but must be aware of the hands on approach required by the business.

You will receive a very competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 Per Annum, study support will also be offered for the right candidate.
