Job Description
You will be responsible for the planning and operation of a project from start to completion, managing site teams and logistics in all aspects of drylining and ceilings installation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing clear direction to the on site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets;
- Managing the day to day operation from foundation to completion, and the critical paths for labour, materials and plant including material lead times;
- Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme;
- Providing accurate and regular reports on progress and dates;
- Controlling additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure;
- Ensuring quality at every stage of the installation;
- Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to;
- Liaising with Contracts Manager and office team in order to keep open lines of communication;
- Ensure customer service remains of the highest priority at all times with everyone on site
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Good level of leadership and site management skills;
- Technical experience and knowledge in drylining, ceilings and other fit-out trades a bonus;
- Excellent organisational and communication skills;
- High Level of Health and Safety awareness.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Min HNC qualified; CITB Level 3 Safety Course; Appropriate CSCS Card (SSSTS / SMSTS); Experience in drylining and ceiling installations and other interior fit-out trades a bonus; Previous site management experience; Able to travel throughout the region.
