Reconciliation of daily sales, petty cash, online payments, bank statements etc
Banking and till float
Purchase ledger and credit control
Co-ordinating with insurance companies for reimbursement
Scanning/filing of documents
Ordering stationery supplies
Incoming/outgoing post
Organization of practice meeting and minute taking
Manage patient records and IT system
Evaluates appointment procedures and client services
Recruit, train and supervise administrative/reception employees
Support Reception, particularly with holiday cover and sickness
Coordinate with outside visiting clinicians to ensure they have necessary support
Health & Safety compliance such as Fire safety, First aid and Employee Handbook; arranging routine maintenance and upkeep records/manuals
Manage utilities contracts, practice insurances (building/contents/professional indemnity etc), ensuring compliancy
Prepare employment contracts
Record continuing professional development for employees
Maintain absence and holiday records for employees
Other duties as required by management

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience: Previous accounts admin experience is essential Knowledge of accountancy, payroll and pension software systems necessary (specifically of Xero, IRIS, Nest is advantageous) Knowledge of Health and Safety is desirable · Previous experience in a veterinary or medical setting is advantageous Skills: Friendly and personable Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent computer literacy including relevant software Great attention to detail
